Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
After breakfast at your hotel or upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stop at the View Point for scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch and later go for an afternoon game drive, exploring the savannah plains and enjoying sight of various animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Wake up early for breakfast and go for a full day game drive with your packed lunch boxes. The game drives give you a chance to explore the endless plains of Masai Mara and enjoy sighting of abundant wildlife calling the savannah plains home, namely elephant, buffalo, lion, rhinos, leopards, wildebeests, gazelles, elands among others.
You will enjoy lunch at one of the picnic sites along the Mara River while seeing various animals passing by. Continue with the game drive till late afternoon, exit the reserve and head to the local Maasai Village for a cultural experience. Here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, interact with the elders and take part in livestock rearing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Enjoy morning breakfast and go for an en-route game drive as you depart for Nakuru. Enjoy en-route lunch and stunning views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha seen from a far on the main highway.
When you arrive in the park, you will go for an evening game drive on which you will see several animals including rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards among others. Head to your lodge for check in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, head the park for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a fantastic wildlife destination famous for large population of black and white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes, and a fantastic array of bird life including thousands of flamingoes and other water bird species including white pelicans and marabu stork breeding in the lake’s alkaline waters.
During the game drive you will spot the rare Rothschild giraffes, white rhinos, zebras, gazelles, elands, buffaloes among others. Visit the baboon cliff offering a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Head to the Makalia Falls within the park. Enjoy picnic lunch, then depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Departure
Enjoy early breakfast and head to Lake Naivasha for a boat excursion head leading you to the Crescent Island Private Game Sanctuary where you will have a guided walk amidst giraffes, buffaloes and have a chance to spot several birdlife species. Enjoy lunch at your lodge and then depart for Nairobi arriving in the evening, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight or at the hotel.
