To get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on this safari, you will land at Entebbe International Airport, then connect for a domestic/charter flight to Kihihi Airstrip. From here, you will be welcomed by our guide and transfer you to the park which is a drive of approximately 1 hour.

Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Gorilla Fly-In Express Safari
Day 1: Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and be transferred to Entebbe or Kajjansi Airstrip for your flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Upon landing, you will meet your driver guide and transfer you to your hotel in Buhoma Sector, check in and rest as you wait for lunch.
In the afternoon you will go for a Batwa Village for a cultural experience, here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, visit the medicine man and take part in preparing local meals. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience
Have an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking which starts at 08:00 am. Gorilla trekking is one of the most captivating and unforgettable wildlife experience in the world offering visitors a chance to spend one hour with one of the remaining mountain gorilla families in the world.
In the briefing, a ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the forest. In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek depending on your fitness level and liking. With an armed ranger, head into the impenetrable Bwindi Forest looking for mountain gorillas. The trek takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night, you are only allowed to spend one hour in their presence, watching them as they go on with their life in the forest, feed, groom each other and take amazing portraits of them.
Trek back to the park headquarters, meet your guide and return to your lodge where you will spend the rest of the day at rest. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Kihihi – Entebbe
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge, meet your guide and be driven to Kihihi Airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe where you will connect for your depart flight bringing your Uganda Gorilla Safari to an end.
