Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable Forest
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will be picked up by our guide and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you will have two stopovers, one at the Equator to stand in both Northern and Southern Hemisphere, take pictures and buy crafts. Another stopover in Mbarara City for lunch, proceed to Bwindi with a drive through the magnificent rolling hills arriving in the evening. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking/Tracking-Bwindi Forest
After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will head to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch. A senior guide will take you through the rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of mountains, in groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek and head into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas.
Depending on the movement of mountain gorillas, the trek approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours and more. When you locate the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas watching them go on with their daily lives, watch them play on tree branches, groom each other and take amazing pictures.
You are encouraged to carry enough water, sunglasses, rain coats, hats and wear sturdy shoes.
After one hour of being in the presence of the gorillas, you will return to your lodge and relax. In evening ours, you can decide to stay at the lodge and rest or visit the Batwa Community where you will interact with the local forest people and discover a lot about their culture and customs. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth via the Ishasha sector-have a boat cruise
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the Ishasha Sector famous for the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species such as monkeys, kobs, cape buffaloes, elephants and birds among others.
Upon arrival at the park, you will check-in at your lodge for lunch as you prepare to go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. On this experience, you will see a lot of water animals like hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants that come to drink water and different bird species such as the malachite kingfisher, saddle billed stork among others. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive & afternoon boat cruise
Wake up so early, have a cup of coffee and head to the Kasenyi track and other tracks for morning risers. Here you will have a chance of seeing lions, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and elands among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to your lodge for breakfast and rest as you wait for lunch as you get ready for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel which is a thrilling activity to do in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive as you Depart to Kampala
Have breakfast and go for a game drive as you drive out of the park, along the way you will have lunch en-route and you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or at your hotel in Kampala in the evening.
