This 5 Days Tanzania Safari takes you on a journey through the highlights of renowned parks of northern Tanzania starting with Tarangire National Park, home of elephant and then you will visit the Serengeti, the Big 5 Game Haven and also the host of over 3 million large mammals. Then, you will go to Ngorongoro Crater which supports a year-round resident population of mammals and finally, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park, an ornithologists’ paradise known for its elusive tree-climbing lions.

Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Tanzania Under the Skies Safari
Day 1 – Arusha – Tarangire
After breakfast depart and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. In the evening, drive to the lodge for the dinner and overnight.
Tarangire National Park is located slightly off the main Northern Safari route, the park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. During the game drive you will be treated to incredible sightings of zebras, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras among others.

Day 2 – Serengeti
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before departing for Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive viewing the Great Migration. In the evening, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Serengeti
After your breakfast at the camp, we will drive to the Seronera Region of Serengeti for a full day game drive in the Central Part of Serengeti still viewing the Great Migration. Late in the afternoon, we will drive back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
Serengeti National Park is well known for its healthy population of other resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part of the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater
Depart after your breakfast at the camp to Ngorongoro Conservation for a full day crater tour game drive with picnic lunch. In the evening, we will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater is the jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown, this volcanic crater is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. During the game drive you wll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the Southwestern Corner which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingoes, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Day 5 – Lake Manyara – Departure
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. In the afternoon drive back to Arusha for your drop off at the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
With more than 400 species recorded, Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. You can observe over 100 species in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.
