This 10 Days East Africa Safari is a combined safari taking you on a safari visit to amazing destinations in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. This safari package offers you a chance to see a variety of wildlife including the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants in Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Also trek mountain gorillas in forests of Bwindi.

Detailed itinerary of 10 Days East Africa Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi forest.
On arrival at Entebbe International Park or after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, you will be picked up by our guide and embark on a journey to Bwindi with en-route stopover at Equator in Kayabwe for pictures and a polar water experience. Make another stopover in Mbarara for lunch, and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will connect to your lodge. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven Lodge for Mid-range, Buhoma Community Rest Camp for Budget.

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Have early breakfast, depart with your packed lunch and report to the park headquarters for an important briefing by the park ranger guides about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Here, you will be allocated a gorilla group to trek and then head into the steep slopes of Bwindi and trek until you find the mountain gorillas. The trek can last between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
After find the gorillas, you will be allowed 1 hour to observe, photograph and record videos as you please and later return to the assembly point for your gorilla trekking certificate. Your guide will be waiting for you. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe, Fly to JRO (Own Booking)
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours; Flight option available. Book a late flight.
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to transfer to Entebbe. Arrive in time for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Once at the airport, you shall be picked up by your Tanzania guide and transfer to the hotel, check-in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa for Mod-range, Burka Coffee Lodge for Budget.
Day 4: Pick up, Drive to Ngorongoro, Walking Safari
You shall be picked up at the hotel in Arusha by your private driver guide, proceed to drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will engage in a walking safari. During your walking safari, you will be accompanied by a ranger and you will get a close encounter with your natural surroundings in Ngorongoro and also get to know how to track animals. After this experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Have breakfast as you prepare for a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater and engage in a game drive as you lookout for elephants, lionns, buffaloes, leopards, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, dik dik, antelopes and warthogs among others.
You will also enjoy amazing views around the Ngorongoro Crater and also see flamingoes along the shores of the alkaline lake found in the crater, Lake Magadi. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti, Game Drive
After breakfast at your lodge or camp, your guide will drive you to Serengeti National Park. You will have lunch at your lodge and later you will engage in a late afternoon game drive around Serengeti National Park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the Big 5 and many others during your safari. After the game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. After your early breakfast, drive out for a full day game drive with your lunch boxes along the Seronera Area. Enjoy the big game around Seronera River, some of the wildlife to lookout for in this region include lions, Thomson gazelles, topis, ostriches and cheetahs.
After your game drive, you will proceed to the Visitor Centre where you will have lunch. In the evening go for a game drive to the Kopjes the weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, proceed to transfer to Isebania Border with a packed lunch. After clearing with the immigrations, meet your Kenya guide and proceed to Masai Mara. Day 9: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara game reserve
Full Day Game Drives. You will wake up early for breakfast and get ready for the long awaited day in Masai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, with your lunch boxes head out for a full day in the Masai Mara Plains. Other animals in Masai Mara to see include large pride of lions, zebras, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many more. Return to the lodge, relax as you wait for lunch.
In the afternoon go for an evening game drive in search of more animals especially pointing at ehat we might have missed during the previous dates. You will go for another game drive following different tracks, which will give you an opportunity to see even more animals, chance to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration if in season. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 10: Maasai Cultural Experience, and departure
After breakfast and checking out of your lodge, you will enjoy game viewing as you leave the park. Enjoy a Maasai Cultural Experience for a chance to learn and interact with the locals. After, you will be driven to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home bring your safari to an end.
