Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe.
Entebbe is a laid-back, waterside town with Palm-friend promenades lapped by Lake Victoria. Most visitors arrive here as is the only international airport in the country and spent pleasant time acclimatizing by strolling the lawns of the beautiful botanical gardens dating back to 1898 and sipping on a Uganda grown coffee drink.

Day 2-3: Murchison Falls National Park
Spend these two days exploring Murchison Falls National Park, the oldest and largest park in Uganda. Named after the plunging torrents where the Nile River is forced through a crack in the Rift Valley Escarpment resulting in a foaming, furious waterfall. This beautiful park is famed for the spectacular birdlife and wildlife including four of the Big Five calling it home. More than 460 species of birds thrive between the breathtaking Budongo Forest and riverine wood line, while the elusive shoebill storks wade out from the soft riverbank.
Today’s Experiences:
- Enjoy game viewing drives through the savannah plains of Murchison Falls, lookout for several animals including lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, buffaloes and many bird species.
- Glide to the base of the Murchison Falls on a launch cruise and get a feeling of the spray of this powerful body of water dropping 141 feet before eventually flowing out into Lake Albert.

Day 4-5: Kibale Forest National Park
Explore Kibale Forest National Park – the primate capital of the world. Home to 13 species of primates including chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys among others. The star of Kibale Forest is the chimpanzees and visitors have a 99% chance of seeing our closest living relatives in the wild.
Experiences to Do
- Hike through the forest of Kibale looking for chimpanzees, the trek takes approximately 2-4 hours depending on their movement. Spend one hour in their presence watching them.
- Hike around the rim of an extinct volcanoes with our guide, before plunging into the crater itself where virgin forest encircles the spearmint water of Kyaninga lake, which at over 700 feet deep.

Day 6-8: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, located on a Kenya migration corridor at the foot of the Southwest’s snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, known as the Mountains of the Moon for their lunar-white landscape. This rich tapestry of lakes, savannah grasslands and wetlands are roamed by many of the African safari highlights, elephants, herds of buffaloes and lions including tree climbing lions are frequently sighted. Ishasha sector tree climbing lions are one of just two populations in the world known to deploy this curious skill.
Experiences to Do
- Explore the ecosystem on game drives, enjoy morning and evening game drives in a luxury 4×4 vehicle. With an expert guide you will enjoy sighting of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants, hyenas and several bird species among others.
- Kazinga Boat Cruise – glide on the calm waters of Kazinga Channel, a water channel connect Lake George to Lake Edward. Enjoy sightings of water birds and water animals including hippos and crocodiles.

Day 9-10: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Discover the mist-topped tangle of treetops, strangling roots and coiling ferns, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of Africa conservation’s true success stories and home to mountain gorillas.
Bwindi is a mysterious wonderland that nurtures Africa’s largest population of habituated mountain gorillas. Trek through farmland and foliage to spend an intimate hour watching their loving, complex family dramas playout at your feet.
Experiences to Do
- Gorilla Trekking – Visit one of the habituated gorilla families in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, this experience takes approximately 2-6 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous and get to spend an intimate one hour in their presence.
- Visit the Batwa Village – Visit the forest people for a cultural enriching experience.

Day 11: Departure
Enjoy breakfast and embark on a journey back to Entebbe where your guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home bringing your Uganda Safari to an end.
