This 4 Days Gorilla Habituation and Cultural Safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is an extraordinary Uganda gorilla safari. In the impenetrable jungles of Bwindi Forest you will spend 4 hours with a semi-habituated gorilla family, gorilla habituation experience is only done in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will also have a cultural experience in the Batwa Village, these pygmies used to live harmoniously with the gorillas in the forests of Bwindi until the forest was recognized as a protected area.

Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Gorilla Habituation and Cultural Safari
Day 1: Arrival to Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, your driver guide and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Spend the rest of the day at rest recovering from the jet lag or go for a short Kampala City Tour.
Overnight at Best Western Hotel

Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop in Kayabwe at the Equator Crossing for pictures and water experiment. Have another stop in Mbarara for lunch and continue to Bwindi arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.
Alternatively, you can flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park from Entebbe International Airport to Kisoro Airstrip.
Overnight at Buhoma Community Camp – Budget, Buhoma Haven Lodge – Midrange, Buhoma Lodge – Luxury.

Day 3: The Gorilla Habituation Experience
Wake up early for breakfast, meet your guide and head to the Bwindi Forest for gorilla habituation experience. You will join other trekkers at the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts and the right way to behave while in the presence of the gorillas, in groups of 4 people you will head into the forest looking for a semi-habituated gorilla family with a team of rangers and researchers in the process of creating yet another family of the most unique apes.
Gorilla Habituation Experience is a very big opportunity to learn about the secret life of the endangered mountain gorillas. Get to know how they are tamed to be friendly to visitors, you will be recognized as part of the team in the efforts to create a friendly relationship between man and the most elusive giant apes.
After this most captivating experience, you will head to the Batwa Community for a cultural experience. Here you will get to know all the cultural details of these short people of the forest ranging from hunting, cultural dances and songs, herbal medicine knowledge, dressing to family setting and lineage. It is a very interesting experience as you will have a chance to exchange cultural experience with the local people of the forest.
Day 4: Departure
In the morning after breakfast, you will meet your guide and embark on a journey back to Kampala with lunch in Mbarara. Your guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home.
If you traveled on a domestic flight, you will catch a flight from Kisoro Airstrip to Entebbe, then connect for your international flight back home.
