Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Experience Chyulu Hills – Kenya’s Untamed Beauty

On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our driver who will transfer you by private vehicle to Wilson Airport, the domestic flying hub. Fly from here to the Chyulu Hills, 55 minutes away.

Chyulu Hills National Park situated between Tsavo West and Amboseli is one of Kenya’s least developed national parks. It is a unique habitat featuring vast grass plains, forest rolling hills, and rugged volcanic craters set against the iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

A guide from the lodge will meet you at the airstrip and game drive you back to camp, where you can enjoy lunch and relax in the comfort of your tent. In the mid-afternoon, set off on your first game drive to explore this beautiful landscape.

Day 2-3: Explore the Wild and Wonderful Chyulu Hills

Experience the thrill of morning and afternoon safari activities in the beautiful Chyulu Hills. Choose from activities such as guided bush walks, shared game drives, extinct lava tube exploration, Maasai village visits, horse riding, and excellent bird watching. This safari is a wildlife lover’s paradise with the chance to see elephants, eland, leopards, bush pig, reedbuck, buffalo, and giraffe up close.

Day 4: Savannah Safari: Savour a Scenic Journey

This morning, after your final breakfast in camp, you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. You will connect with your onward flight to the Masai Mara on arrival.

A guide from the camp will meet you at the airstrip and then game drive you to the camp, offering the perfect introduction to the vast savannah plains and stopping to watch any wildlife you encounter along the way. Settle into your comfortable accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch and relaxing time. After afternoon tea and delicious cake, head off on a game drive to search for big cats and other captivating wildlife.

Day 5-6: Discover Big Cats and More in the Masai Mara

Enjoy your camp’s shared morning and afternoon activities and explore the Masai Mara with an experienced guide. The area is home to a magnificent variety of wildlife, including good populations of wildlife, leopard, cheetah, herds of elephant and buffaloes, and much more. Sped your safari days on game drives, walking safaris, or cultural visits to the local Maasai communities.

Overnight at Naboisho Camp or Angama Mara

Day 7: Departure

After enjoying your final breakfast in the wild, pack your bags and meet your guide for a short game drive back to the airstrip. You will fly by light aircraft to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, our driver will wait for you to transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, approximately an hour’s drive away, depending on traffic, where you can check in for your flight back home.
