Uganda Wildlife Conservation Tarriff Guide 2024 : This Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) Wildlife Conservation Tarriff for 2024 officially issued and published included reserves and national park entry fees, permits (both gorillas and chimpanzees) and guided activities costs among others.
This new Uganda Wildlife Conservation Tariff Guide 2024 includes a few changes made by Uganda Wildlife Authority such as, Murchison Falls National Park now has its own category “A plus” with higher park entry charges from Category A Parks.
Category A entry charges have increased by $ 5 and Game drive fees are now mandatory for self and UWA-guided tours. But all primate fees remain the same.
Uganda Wildlife Conservation Tariff Guide 2024, All conservation fees are quoted in United States Dollars (US$) for Foreign Non-Residents (FNR) and Foreign Residents (FR) and Uganda Shillings (UGX) for Ugandans and East African Member State Citizens (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan).
A day’s entrance ticket is valid for twenty – four hours from the time of entrance, UWA will charge you extra fees for the extra time you spent in the park after the ticket’s 24 hours.
Children are categorized as persons aged between 5-15 years, kids below 5 years don’t pay any park or conservation fees. But gorilla trekking and chimpanzee tracking activities allow only persons above 15 years.
All Park entrance fees are independent of package activities such as gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, mountain climbing and Bird watching.
All visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm their resident status.
