Embark on an adventure of a lifetime on which you will have an encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, then fly to Kenya for a grand wildlife safari in Lake Nakuru National Park and the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve.

Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Uganda Gorilla and Masai Mara
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide. He will help you with your baggage and transfer you to your hotel in Kigali. Spend the evening at rest recovering from jetlag.
Overnight at Des Mille Collines Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, you will check out of the later and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with border crossing at Kyanika Border, then proceed to your booked accommodation.
Enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the day at relaxation for go for a village walk.
Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Wake up early for breakfast, meet your drive and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes. Join other visitors for a briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in presence of the gorillas, in groups of 8 people you will trek into the forests looking for these gentle giants led by armed rangers and guides.
The trek takes approximately 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. You will stay one hour with the gorillas observing them play, feed, groom and you can take as many photos as possible as long as your flashlight is off.
After the trekking experience, you will return to the park headquarters, meet your guide and return to your lodge. After a short rest, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Canoe Ride and Transfer To Kigali
Enjoy a relaxed morning breakfast, then go for a canoe ride adventure on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, visit numerous islands which have amazing history and home to numerous bird species. Later embark on a journey to Kigali with en-route lunch.
Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight at Des Mille Collines
Day 5: Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial & Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and head go for a Kigali City Tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Ground which honors the memory of more than one million Rwandese killed in 1994 genocide. You will be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors of this horrific incident.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will meet your driver guide and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will meet your driver – guide, have a short briefing about the safari and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. A long the way you will have a brief stop at the floor of the Rift Valley, the scenic drive takes you via farm lands and the Great Rift Valley Lakes.
Arrive and check in at your lodge for lunch, then in the afternoon go for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to four of the Big Five include a black and white rhinos and huge flocks of flamingoes. At sunset you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 & 9: Masai Mara Safari Experience
Spend two full days exploring and discovering the vast Masai Mara National Reserve on game drives as you search for the resident Big Cates, antelopes and several bird species. Keep an eye out for gazelles, elands, gazelles, hippos, leopard, black rhinos and several other animals and birds resident to the reserve.
Every year between July and October, the savannah plains of Masai Mara host the Great Wildebeest Migration with over 1.2 million wildebeests and zebras crossing over from Serengeti in search for water and greener pastures.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi & Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Nairobi with en-route game drive. You will have lunch and later be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight home.
