Detailed Itinerary of 11 Days Bwindi Gorilla, Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked from Entebbe International Airport upon arrival and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, along the way you will have lunch in Mbarara and a stop at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for pictures and a chance to stand in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Continue to the park arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast at your lodge, meet your guide and head to the park headquarters where you will join other visitors for briefing about gorilla trekking. In groups of 8 people you will head into the forest in search for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
You will spend one hour watching the gorillas as they go on with their life in the forest, take as many photos as possible, and trek back to the park headquarters. Meet your driver guide and return to your lodge for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Kigali and Fly to Arusha.
After breakfast you will embark on a journey to Kigali with border crossing at Kyanika Border. After lunch you will be dropped off at the airport for your evening flight Arusha. On landing, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park to explore the vast savannah plains in search for Africa’s remarkable wildlife species such as the Big 5 – lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes and leopards.
You will enjoy picnic lunch and then engage in an evening game drives in search for more wildlife calling the park home including zebras, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, kudus, gazelles, hyenas, and many others. Head to you lodge for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6: Full day in Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti National Park. During your morning game drive, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, antelopes, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks and many others. Enjoy lunch at the picnic site and continue exploring the park till sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
At one of these days you will indulge in a hot air balloon safari on which you will enjoy aerial views of the park. Conclude your experience with a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge, Crater Rim Walk
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – your next wildlife viewing destination. With your packed lunch box, drive to Ngorongoro where you will enjoy a visit to the Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through history of Mankind. Enjoy a game drive in the conservation area as you drive to your lodge for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
After breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, you will descend into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the Big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffaloes, lions and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include wildebeests, hyenas, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
In the corner of the Ngorongoro Crater you will visit Lake Magadi where you will spot the pink flamingoes and other birds like ostriches. Later head to the Maasai Bomas to visit and interact with the locals, and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 9: Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking)
After breakfast at the lodge, your guide will drive to you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. You will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar and on arrival, be driven to your hotel for check-in. spend the rest of the day relaxing the beach.

Day 10: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
After breakfast, take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. Take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone Town.
On this day, you will also engage in a Spice Tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the use of spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night as above.

Day 11: Relaxed Day at the Beach, Early Morning Flight out
