Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Serengeti Safari
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
To start your Serengeti Safari, you will be collected from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast or from Kilimanjaro International Airport and journey to Serengeti National Park. From Arusha, it is a journey of about 5 hours to Serengeti.
Arrive in the park in time for lunch at your lodge, enjoy your meals after check-in and have a brief rest. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive searching for Serengeti’s iconic wildlife species including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, giraffes and gazelles among others.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Today you will spend the whole day exploring Serengeti National Park – the most renowned safari destination in Tanzania for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central part of Serengeti, known as Seronera is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife.
During the game drive you will see many lion prides that thrive in this region, seen on the Serengeti Kopjes which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass. Other animals to lookout for include leopards, cape buffaloes, warthogs, cheetahs, among others. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue exploring the park. Later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Today is the last day of your 3 Days Serengeti Safari. You will have an early start, enjoy breakfast and head out to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, you will see several animals including black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions and elephants among others.
Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo Pool, you will ascend to exit the crater and journey back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
