Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Mombasa Beach Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our company representative – your driver-guide, brief you about the safari and go for a Kigali City Tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kimiroko Market and other interesting sites.
After lunch, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park a journey of about 3 hours through a thousand hills. Arrive in the park in the afternoon, check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at rest, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge, head to the park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing about gorilla trekking by a senior ranger guide. In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, head into the forest searching for the gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Once you locate the gorilla troop, spend one hour in their presence watching then feed, groom and take amazing pictures and videos. Later trek back to the starting point, meet your driver guide and return to your lodge, enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the day at relaxation, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Kigali and Fly to Mombasa
After breakfast, you will be driven to back to Kigali city here you will catch your flight to Mombasa. Upon landing, you will be meet and greeted by your Kenya guide and go for a Mombasa City Tour visiting the Fort Jesus, temples, Maama Ngina and Crafts Markets. Lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in the city, then proceed to your beach hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Diani Beach
After breakfast, you will be drive through Mombasa Town for a ferry crossing to Diani Beach. The journey is one hour with drive through small towns, see matatus, small craft shops as you head to your beach resort.
Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel and spend the afternoon enjoying the beach life.

Day 5: Excursion to Kisite Marine Park and Wasini Island
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Shimoni South of Diani where you will be registered and take part in a boat excursion to Kisite – Mpunguti and Wasini Island. The boats are operated by the locals who are knowledgeable in the marine life in Indian Ocean. At Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park, you will have an opportunity to see Dolphins, several fish species, coral reefs among others. You are free to jump out of the boat for swimming, snorkeling or relaxation in the middle of the ocean.
After you experience at this beautiful Marine Park, you will take a boat to Wasini Island where you will enjoy several local dishes are served. You will not only enjoy the local dishes but also the local culture as you interact with the locals.
Later, transfer back to Shimoni back by boat, then to your Beach Resort hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Beach life walks and swimming
After breakfast, you are free to relax on the beautiful beach, take a walk on this beach stretching 17 kilometers as you observe tides and blue ocean with happy local people. This is an unmissable experience in Diani Beach as it is relaxing and rewarding.
Return to your hotel for lunch and in the afternoon, you can take a swim in the swimming pool or the ocean.
